How the Academy’s Content and Community Are Meant to Be Used

These terms describe the rules for accessing Ballarat Brewing Academy’s educational material, joining its online community, and participating in its courses. By using this site, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Subject of the Service

Ballarat Brewing Academy publishes brewing guides, recipe walkthroughs, fermentation advice, and interviews with experienced brewers. The material is provided for personal education and homebrewing practice. It does not constitute professional consulting, commercial licensing advice, or a guarantee of specific brewing results.

2. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for following the instructions safely and for using appropriate equipment. Always clean and sanitize your tools, monitor fermentation temperatures, and handle hot liquids and glass bottles with care. The Academy is not liable for injuries or property damage that result from improper use of the published methods.

3. Community Conduct

When you post questions, share batch notes, or comment on articles, keep the conversation respectful and on-topic. Do not share misleading safety advice, spam, or content that violates local alcohol regulations. The Academy may remove posts or restrict access for users who break these rules.

4. Intellectual Property

All articles, recipes, photographs, and course materials on this site belong to Ballarat Brewing Academy or its contributors. You may print a recipe for personal use or quote a short passage with attribution. You may not republish full articles, sell the content, or present it as your own work.

5. Limitation of Liability

The brewing information is offered in good faith and reflects the experience of the authors. However, fermentation outcomes vary with ingredients, water chemistry, and equipment. The Academy does not guarantee that a specific recipe will produce a particular flavor, alcohol level, or clarity. You brew at your own discretion.

6. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate access to the community area or paid course content if a user repeatedly violates these terms, misuses the material, or acts in a way that harms other members. You may stop using the site at any time. Paid course access remains available for the period stated at enrollment.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes in how the Academy operates. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
