"The amber ale module finally explained why my batches tasted thin. Adjusting the crystal malt ratio and mash temperature changed everything. My last three brews have been my best yet."

Homebrewer, 3 years · Completed Foundation Course
"I joined for the hop selection guide but stayed for the fermentation control lessons. The temperature charts and yeast pitching rates are practical, not theoretical. My saison finally tastes like it should."

"The food pairing sessions with local cheese and charcuterie gave me a new way to present my brews. The instructors know their craft and share real troubleshooting stories, not just theory."

Program Terms & Clarifications
Before you choose between a guided workshop, a self-paced recipe pack, or a full mentorship track, here are the precise boundaries of each format. These notes remove the guesswork about batch sizes, equipment expectations, and the level of instructor access you can rely on.
A live, small-group session where we brew one 5-gallon batch together from crush to fermenter. You receive the full recipe sheet, a hop schedule, and a fermentation log template.
You leave with a fermenting beer and a clear record of every step we took. No bottling is covered in this format.
A downloadable set of five tested recipes with detailed water profiles, mash schedules, and expected gravity readings. Built for brewers who already own basic equipment and want to expand their range.
Each recipe includes a troubleshooting note for common fermentation issues. You brew on your own schedule and at your own pace.
A six-week guided program covering three full brew days, two feedback calls, and a final bottling session. This format assumes you have a working kettle and fermenter at home.
The track ends with a bottling and carbonation session, so you see the full cycle from grain to finished beer.
Equipment expectations
Workshops and mentorship assume you have a 5-gallon kettle, a fermenter with airlock, and a hydrometer. The recipe pack assumes the same baseline plus a bottling bucket.
Ingredient sourcing
Malt, hops, and yeast are not included in any format. We provide a sourcing list with preferred local suppliers and acceptable substitutes for hard-to-find varieties.
Cancellation window
You may reschedule a workshop or mentorship session up to 72 hours before the start time. Recipe packs are non-refundable once downloaded.
Style coverage
We focus on classic styles: amber ales, porters, saisons, and clean lagers. Experimental styles are discussed only in the mentorship track where we can adjust in real time.
Program Formats
Each format covers the same core principles — malt selection, hop character, fermentation discipline — but with different levels of hands-on practice, feedback, and access to the brewing community. Pick the one that matches your current setup and schedule.
For those brewing on a stovetop with basic equipment
For brewers ready to control the full mash and sparge process
For those who want to master one historical style at a time
For regular brewers who want honest feedback on their batches
